Tax law is a very complex but important area of law that has connections to many other areas of law. Where necessary, we work together with experienced experts.
At our office in Brussels, Coralie Tilleux, who has developed outstanding expertise in this area over many years, is at your disposal for all questions relating to Belgian tax law.

Meet Coralie Tilleux

Admitted to the Brussels Bar in October 2002, Coralie worked for over fifteen years in a Belgian business law firm, before becoming one of the founding partners of redsky legal in 2018. Since her first steps as a lawyer, Coralie has practised corporate law as well as direct and indirect taxation.

Throughout her career, Coralie has advised Belgian and international clients, generally from the business world. Creative and attentive, but also rigorous and precise, Coralie looks for the solutions best suited to her clients' needs, while complying with legal requirements. The client's interests are at the heart of her concerns.

In the course of her practice, Coralie has developed a keen interest in corporate taxation, international tax issues (international corporate taxation, taxation of foreign directors) and tax issues relating to real estate.
In addition, she provides day-to-day support for companies and regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions (domestic and cross-border) and restructuring operations, incorporating corporate law aspects (company documentation, shareholders' agreements, etc.) and tax issues and consequences. Coralie has also been involved in setting up stock option plans and cash-pooling schemes. Her services include advice, negotiation and, in tax matters, management of administrative and legal disputes.

Running a practice in terms of legal issues is quite similar -in a way- to running a company and - with the customised legal advice in the background, a smooth process can be guaranteed in everyday practice.

Labour law, data protection law, competition law and corporate law issues may have an inpact in the daily routine of a medical practice.

  • Corporate law advice for medical practices

From resolving disputes within professional practices and practice groups to the establishment, purchase, or sale of medical practices, as well as other corporate law matters specific to the medical field, we are your trusted advisors.

  • Data protection law issues in medical practices

In addition, data protection law issues play a considerable role in the everyday life of a medical practice and must be handled with great care in the course of the advancing digitalization of the health care system, especially in order to be able to exclude later liability traps.

  • Labour law in the medical practice

In the day-to-day work of a medical practice, a wide range of labour law issues arise, from hiring to dismissal, professional training, working time law, vacation law, parental leave law and much more. We support practice owners professionally and reliably.

  • Competition law
Marketing and advertising by physicians is subject to special regulations in Germany. In order not to make any liability-relevant mistakes, legal advice in advance is indispensable. Our colleagues are at your disposal.

Medical liability law disputes

Medical disputes especially in malpractice law require a high degree of professional specialization as well as sensitivity. Our expert lawyers located in Frankfurt represent clients in such disputes (both inside and out of the courtroom).

We advise physicians and dentists, clinicians and other health care providers, especially in medical malpractice law and dental malpractice law.
With negotiating skills and required sensitivity, we represent our clients both outside the courtroom, for example before the expert and arbitration boards of the medical associations, and in litigation in defending claims for damages and compensation for pain and suffering.
In doing so, the advising colleagues are always aware that medical law disputes are of great importance for all parties involved on various levels. In addition to a high degree of professional specialization, empathy, focused reasoning and discretion lead to successful results in a large number of cases.

Our colleagues in the field of medical law have repeatedly been recognized by Focus magazine as the best lawyers in medical law in Germany.

Representation in and out of court

Litigation representation  treatment providers
Disputes over claims arising from medical treatment are brought before the courts in special chambers and senates with special jurisdiction over medical liability law. Litigation requires precise knowledge of the procedural and substantive legal peculiarities.

Out-of-court representation of treating parties
We regularly advise physicians and dentists, clinics and other health care providers, even before a legal dispute arises. We handle correspondence with patients' attorneys and support communication with the relevant professional liability insurers. In close coordination with the professional liability insurers, we accompany out-of-court assessments, among others, before the expert and arbitration boards of the state medical associations.

Notarial services (Frankfurt)

We only offer notarial services at our location in Frankfurt only. Please feel free to contact us.
